Leather Satchel

A single strap bag that is traditionally worn so that it crosses the body with the bag hanging on the opposite hip. Traditionally used for carrying books, it has become an urban fashion for women and incorporated into the information era with its technical and electronic personal and professional accessories.  It usually has a flat bottom to allow it to stand upright.  It is a top handle and/or crossbody strap.  It comes in a variety of shapes and sizes with a usual flap top, buckle and/or clasp closures.
