Welcome to the Der Lederhandler Return Guide. We want your shopping experience at Der Lederhandler to be top-notch. We hope you love each item you receive; if not, we’re here to help. Check out our return policy below.
RETURNS
If you want to return the item you purchased, please drop us a note through our online form within 7 days. Please ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging with stickers still attached.
If you received the wrong item or a damaged or defective item, the return cost will be on Der Lederhandler’s account. A return for any other reason will be for the customer’s account.
THE RETURN PROCESS
Once the goods have been approved for return, we will notify you and arrange for our courier to collect it from you.
Please package the item carefully to prevent any damage in transit. Include a copy of your invoice with your return.
A refund will be processed once we are in possession of the product(s) in question. Refunds are issued back via EFT into your bank account. Please mail your banking details, name of account holder and branch code to us.
RETURNS FROM OUTSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA
The customer will bear all return-related costs of goods from any country outside of South Africa. The client will have to use their own courier to return the goods to Der Lederhandler, please ensure that incoterm DDP is used, as all VAT and duties for the return are for the customer’s account.
